The Old Exchange, Castle Douglas, sees its doors open to our business where the phones are once again ringing!

The ‘New’ Exchange

We are now trading from The Old Exchange, bringing together our legal expertise.  The partnership between myself and David Hall came from a shared vision, drive and passion to deliver excellent personal and business legal services to everyone living in rural communities and to dispel the myth that you must live in or go to the ‘big city’ to access legal expertise.

David and I believe that having a good client relationship is fundamentally important. All would agree that communication is key to any good relationship and what better place for that communication to take place but at our office at The Old Exchange.

The ‘Old’ Exchange

The Old Exchange was once a telephone repeater station, constructed in the 1930’s but has since been decommissioned.  Reportedly many calls between the Stewartry and London were historically routed through The Old Exchange and during the Second World War it played an important role with calls between London and Belfast also being routed through it. As such The Old Exchange is no stranger to opening effective lines of communication!
